Nick is an artist. He has designed and built sets for film and TV projects and was a member of the in-house production team at Sands Film Studios in Rotherhithe, London. He has collaborated on numerous Oddbodies’ projects including the films Black Hen, Fat Lady Dances On The Head of A Pin, Mrs Lustleigh’s Fancies and The Nature of Angrove. He also worked on the visual arts project Stories From The Stone Forest . Nick is a genius and can build incredible things out of whatever happens to be lying around.
An early interest in photography drew Chris Jones into the world of image making. Whilst studying at Plymouth College of Art and at Napier University he made the transition from stills photography to the moving image and his work on the graduation film ‘Come to Grief’ won him an award for Best Cinematography at the Scottish Students on Screen awards. Chris now works as a freelance director of photography on film projects including documentaries, short films, music videos, commercials and feature films. Josh is an independent filmmaker based in the South West of England. As well as producing and directing his own creative work under the production moniker Syndrome Pictures, he actively collaborates with many local filmmakers in a variety of roles such as editor, cameraman & animator. He recently completed a PhD in Film by Practice at Exeter University. Josh first worked with Oddbodies on The Fat Lady Dances On The Head Of A Pin. Since then he has collaborated on numerous projects including the creation of a number of virals and most significantly was Editor on Mrs Lustleigh’s Fancies , The Nature of Angrove and A Penny For Them.
Teo first worked with Oddbodies when he came to take some (wonderful) stills on the set of Angrove and ended up working as a Camera Assistant for the whole shoot. He was Camera Assistant on A Penny For Them and most recently worked as DoP on Oddbodies’ current project, Gogol’s Diary of a Madman. Teo is an artist and filmmaker, often working in collaboration with his partner Lena D He has a degree in photography from Falmouth University and an MA in Fine Art from the Slade.
Graduated from Bournemouth Screen Academy with an MA in Screenwriting, Izaskun is a writer and script consultant with over 5 years practice. She has extensive experience in all aspects of Film and TV Production specialising in script writing, script translation and script editing. She has worked for reputed media companies such as Discovery, Inflight Productions, Twofour, Tinko Films, Filmax and BAFTA. Izzie co-produced Mrs Lustleigh’s Fancies and The Nature of Angrove. She has recently produced the feature-length animation To Say Goodbye which is currently playing at Festivals around Europe.
Alex graduated from Edge Hill University in 2003 with a degree in Drama and Writing. He has recently worked with Wildworks in The Beautiful Journey and is a member of Burn the Curtain, a specialist outdoor interactive theatre company. He first got involved with Oddbodies when assisting Paul with a production of The Tempest for the People’s Company at the Theatre Royal Plymouth. Alex went on to stage manage the tour of House of No Return and has worked as a Production Assistant on a number of projects including Mrs Lustleigh’s Fancies in which he also played the part of Dawes the Chicken Farmer. Alex played the part of Angrove Laxeter in the recent film of The Nature of Angrove. He is currently working on the new show for Burn The Curtain.
Lou De Ville Morel
Lou is the Director of Unconventional Productions, a Company specialising in all aspects of production for stills photography and moving image shots. Lou has helped Oddbodies out a million times in hundreds of different ways – costumes, props, publicity shots, ‘production support’ even emergency travel arangements.
