The follow-up was Richard III, Oddbodies’ universally acclaimed adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays. Two actors, sixteen characters and a drum kit adding up to an unusual blend of text, comedy, live music, strong physical performance and stunning visual imagery.  ‘Shakespeare would have loved this…a funny, clever and beautifully edited production…stunning’– Critics’ Choice, The Independent‘This is a production with more drama and pathos than any I have seen which had a full cast. See Them Cows? They Don’t Know Nothing About London was an exuberant and highly original look at the last 2000 years of London’s history. Roman Invasions, reformations, rats, ravens, restorations, plagues, prostitutes, public houses and through it all the perpetual rhythm of the Thames. Devised by the Company with their customary blend of comedy, live music, text and intriguing visual imagery this was an altogether unexpected piece of theatre.   ‘A major comic find’ – Total Theatre

Commissioned by the Dorset Promoters’ Consortium, The Rake’s Progress was based on Hogarth’s series of paintings of the same name. Bursting with exquisitely drawn characterisation and comic observation, it tells the story of the Rake as seen through the eyes of some of the more curious characters within the paintings. A pugilist, prostitute, lamplighter, highwayman, even an emaciated cat, all jostle for attention in this veritable feast of visual ingenuity and physical invention.  ‘Splendid…gripping, funny and immensely entertaining’ – The Dorset Echo‘Startling…saucy, eccentric, spicily amusing and intelligently experimental’ – The London Evening Standard

Inspired by DC & Marvel comics from the  70′s, The House of No Return tells the story of an American tourist who loses his wife whilst holidaying on Dartmoor. His search leads him to encounter a disturbing set of characters in a bizarre moorland mansion. This ‘visual banquet of film, animation and  live performance’ – featured Oddbodies’ usual blend of humour, pathos and beautifully drawn characterisation.  ‘An intriguing tale with power to cheer and chill…unusual and enjoyable entertainment’ – Plymouth Evening Herald
